Broadcast Request Procedures

As broadcast information is disseminated by CDC, PHTN, and other organizations, it will be forwarded to each district Distance Learning contact and also posted on the Upcoming Broadcast site of the Distance Learning web page.

District Satellite Requests

If you are in a district with a satellite receiver:

1. Select a broadcast that you would like to view.
2. Make arrangements with your district satellite contact to receive the broadcast. You may be required to reserve a room.

If your district does not have a satellite receiver:

1. Select a broadcast that you would like to view.
2. Fill out the Request form and send to SatelliteRequest@vdh.virginia.gov.
3. On the form, indicate whether you wish to view the broadcast via the Video Conferencing network or just to have the broadcast taped.
4. Or, make arrangements with a neighboring district to watch the broadcast at their location.

Madison Building Satellite Requests

1. Select a broadcast that you would like to view.
2. Fill out the Request form and send to SatelliteRequest@vdh.virginia.gov.
3. On the form, indicate whether you wish to view the broadcast live or just have the broadcast taped.

Note: Make sure you have a conference room reserved if you wish to view the broadcast live.
