Work is underway on the VCOWT demonstration area. These photos show clearing, grading and silt fence construction activities for the week of December 10th.
12/4/2007:
DCR representatives visited Ft. Pickett on December 4th for a preconstruction meeting with VDH and SVCC personnel to discuss work on the VCOWT demonstration area. After touring the demo area and explaining revisions to the E&S Plan, fuel spill-prevention requirements and the inspection process, they gave approval for the work to proceed. Woodson and Dan Irby of SVCC’s Heavy Equipment Training School are scheduled to begin during the week of December 10th.
