We inspect migrant labor camps to insure that safe and healthy living conditions are provided for migrant workers and their families while they are employed and living in Virginia.

Child Care/Adult Care/Mental Health Facilities:
At the request of other state agencies, we may inspect child care, adult care, nursing homes, or mental health facilities.

Lead and Air Quality:
In cases of elevated lead levels, we have a qualified inspector to investigate and determine the source of contamination. We can provide information on lead, radon, asbestos, and other air quality issues.
