WIC Services

WIC provides the following services for eligible pregnant and breastfeeding women and children from birth to 5 years old:

Healthy eating tips and nutrition counseling.

Breastfeeding information, support and equipment. For information on Breastfeeding Classes click here.

Vouchers to purchase milk, cheese, eggs, juice, cereal, dried beans, fruit, vegetables, whole grain bread, rice, tortillas, peanut butter, salmon and tuna fish. Iron fortified infant formula is also available for infants who require formula.

Portsmouth Churchland WIC Office

*** The Churchland WIC site has closed at 3400 Cedar lane and is relocating to 3260 Academy Ave in the Academy Crossing Shopping Center.  We will reopen as soon as we can establish internet connection sometime in September 2014.  Please call our main office at 393-5340 periodically or check here for more updated information.
