A hotline for youth and for those who care about them. Call or chat live on the NRS website for confidential support or referrals to someone who can help.
National Safe Place – Text the word SAFE and your current location (street address, city and state) to the number 69866, and you’ll receive the address of the nearest Safe Place site and a phone number for the local youth shelter. This organization works to keep young people off the streets.

Kids who are feeling alone, confused or in crisis can call or chat online with a trained advocate. The Trevor Project provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.
