The MRC Program Office headquartered in the Office of the Surgeon General, with the Virginia Department of Health, functions as a “best practices” resource and provides guidance and technical expertise for MRCs and local health districts wanting to form local health volunteer teams. We offer technical expertise and educational assistance to communities so that they may achieve their local visions for community health and emergency preparedness.
