Most Important Steps for Volunteers

•  Pre-Registration: Registered volunteers are a known resource     prior to an event.
•  Training: Volunteers receive necessary training before an event.
•  Preparation: Registered volunteers are advised to make
necessary arrangements so that they can be available when an     event occurs.
•  Everyone can help, not just health professionals.

* Virginia MRC volunteers are primarily focused on local community health needs, but they can assist statewide or in other parts of the country.
