EMSAT (EMS Satellite Training) programs are scheduled in six-month increments. This schedule allows for greater flexibility to respond to the many changes that occur in our industry. The monthly topics covered in EMSAT are selected by the office staff of the Division of Educational Development (training). EMSAT programs are intended to deliver instruction in two areas: required topics at the ALS and BLS levels, and enrichment classes that may not be widely available throughout the Commonwealth. We are always seeking suggestions for EMSAT programs, especially creative topics that push the envelope in EMS training. We are continually seeking qualified EMSAT instructors as well, so please let us know if you have just taken "the best class from the best instructor". Suggestions for EMSAT may be sent to Terry Coy, EMSAT Producer, at (800) 523-6019 or (804) 612-3950.
