The Virginia PRAMS questionnaire consists of approximately 56 core questions that are required by the CDC and asked by all PRAMS projects. Further, each state can select additional questions from a CDC approved question list called standard questions. In addition to the core questions, Virginia PRAMS includes 23 standard questions. States can also create questions tailored to meet their needs called state developed questions and Virginia has no state developed questions. The Virginia PRAMS questionnaire is currently administered in English and Spanish. For years 2007 and 2008, Virginia PRAMS used the same set of questions called the Phase 5 questionnaire.
