2015 EMS Course Delivery Method Update

The following documents were originally developed in 2012 as Virginia transitioned fro the National Standard Curriculum (NSC) to the Virginia EMS Education Standards (VEMSES) and National Registry Testing.  The use of these documents was MANDATED from 2012 to July 1, 2015 when Virginia announced a new initiative that recognized an alternate delivery format for all initial EMS certification programs.

These documents were originally created in 2012 and have not been updated since then.  They are provided on the OEMS website as reference only documents for certified Education Coordinators.

Competency-based EMT Program
