Inspirational Moment

Obstacles are what you see when you take your eyes off your goal.
(anonymous)

Many of us set goals and oftentimes get distracted or pulled in other directions. How many of us made a decision to take better care of our health only to find ourselves handling many competing tasks to the point that our personal health goals were pushed to the side? It’s not uncommon for us (women) to juggle multiple tasks at once (family, work, friend requests, responsibilities to community affiliations, et cetera), and then forget the very goals we set for ourselves. Sisters Promoting H.O.P.E. encourages every woman to take charge, take care and take control of your physical, sexual, mental and financial health. Remember, the things we do for ourselves ultimately benefit others as well.

Take Care of You. You’re Priceless!

Mission: To educate, support, and empower Black women in Virginia to protect themselves from HIV and other STDs; and address any other related issues that may impact their capacity to make healthy sexual decisions.
