VDH Launches Syphilis Awareness Campaign

Woman sittingSyphilis has been on the rise in Virginia since 2003, but with increased awareness and testing, health officials are hoping to eliminate the illness. The new advertising campaign urges people to know their risk factors and to get tested. Television and radio advertisements will be aired throughout the Northern, Central and Eastern portions of the Commonwealth this month.
