Project Immunize Virginia (PIV)

Mission: Promote timely immunizations across the lifespan

PIV Image Vision: Project Immunize Virginia is a team of energetic and innovative health professionals and community members dedicated to increasing immunizations for vaccine preventable diseases across the lifespan. PIV achieves this by promoting partnerships and using effective strategies among its member organizations throughout the Commonwealth.

PIV Impact Vision: Project Immunize Virginia believes that every community in the Commonwealth can be free of vaccine preventable diseases. PIV seeks to actualize this by:

• Serving as an immunization information/education resource
• Improving public awareness about vaccine preventable disease
• Mobilizing statewide and community agencies, institutions and resources to action
• Advocating for a statewide immunization information system
• Supporting immunization education of healthcare providers

Project Immunize Virginia is on the move to assure that no resident of our Commonwealth has a disease that could have been prevented by immunization. Please join us as we reach out to improve the health and well-being of all Virginians.
