The VDH Office of Minority Health and Public Health Policy (OMHPHP) has recently developed educational materials for new immigrants, refugees and migrants about how to navigate the U.S. health care system. These materials include a guide and a resource manual available in print and on the web, in both English and Spanish. Additionally, a teaching curriculum about how to use these materials has been developed for community organizations and faith-based groups working with refugees, immigrants and migrants.
