Congratulations to Rand S. Wachsstock, D.V.M. on his appointment to the Radiation Advisory Board.
The Radiation Advisory Board shall meet at least annually and shall:
Review and evaluate policies and programs of the Commonwealth relating to ionizing radiation (§32.1-233).
Make recommendations to the Commissioner and the Board of Health, the Executive Director of the Department of Waste Management, and the Virginia Waste Management Board and furnish such technical advice as may be required, on matters relating to development, utilization and regulation of sources of ionizing radiation (§32.1-233).
The Board meets at least once a year and, and at such other times and places as it determines. Its meetings are open to the public.
