Guidance for Citizens with Complaints Against Radon Professional

This guidance is being provided to citizens who have complaints regarding the quality of work performed by a radon professional, who either tests or mitigates radon levels in indoor air. State law requires radon professionals to be certified by either the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP), or the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB). VDH is not responsible for reviewing the quality of the work performed by the radon professionals, or ensuring that they adhere to EPA protocol or other accepted practices.

The following VDH bulletin is being provided to summarize actions that citizens who have complaints may take. The bulletin can be viewed by clicking on this link: Consumer Complaints Bulletin
