Mission

Our mission is to identify health inequities, assess their root causes, and address them by promoting social justice, influencing policy, establishing partnerships, providing resources and educating the public.

Strategic Plan

Practical Vision

OMHPHP seeks to achieve its vision by addressing those social and economic policies and practices that create barriers to health. In this, OMHPHP will be a policy change agent, recognized proven leader, effective proactive partner and responsive comprehensive resource. OMHPHP will work to increase and sustain funding, foster community empowerment, utilize accurate data, and educate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Shared core values assist OMHPHP in effectively achieving our vision, mission and practical vision. These values guide our decisions, mold our practices and direct our activities.
