Assessment of EMS Capabilities in CAH Communities

In partnership with the Office of Minority Health and Public Health Policy (OMHPHP), the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS) is conducting an assessment of the capability and capacity of EMS systems that service Critical Access Hospital (CAH) communities. The assessment evaluates several key EMS components:

The studies will present finding and recommendations on (1) EMS capacity, (2) EMS and CAH relationship, (3) EMS communications and (4) future EMS feasibilities.
