The Virginia Department of Health (VDH), Office of Minority Health and Public Health Policy has an online recruitment web site called Primary Practice Opportunities of Virginia (PPOVA). PPOVA is a free resource. PPOVA is dedicated to recruiting primary care medical professionals for Medically Underserved Areas and Health Professional Shortage Areas in Virginia. PPOVA provides an opportunity for providers and employers to learn about Virginia's incentive programs, communities and medical school programs.
