Chickahominy Regional Medical Reserve Corps

The MISSION of the CR-MRC is to sustain a community-based volunteer organization which provides education to the public on health and safety; and to support the Chickahominy Health District in emergency preparedness, mitigation and response. We service Hanover, New Kent, Goochland and Charles City.

THE CR-MRC PARTICIPATES IN FLU CLINIC
The CR-MRC Participated in the Chickahominy Health District's Flu clinic helping to give over 100 residents their annual flu shot. This was an exercise to practice setting up and dispensing to the public.

VIRGINIA HEALTH SYSTEM
To better serve our community, we are going to join the Volunteer for VA Health System. This is a web-based information, alerting, credentialing system for the management of medical and support volunteers who desire to support public health emergencies and daily public health activities in Virginia. This will enable us to serve outside of our district if needed.
