(Petersburg, Va.)- This time of year, parents are making sure their children are ready to go back to school. This includes ensuring they have all required immunizations. The Petersburg Health Department is extending its Immunization Clinic hours on Tuesday, September 1 and Tuesday, September 8. The extended clinic hours on both days will be 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Parents should be sure to bring proper identification, current insurance information, and a current immunization record. The clinic offers immunizations for children of all ages. Adults are welcome for immunizations as well. The Petersburg Health Department is located at 301 Halifax Street, Petersburg, VA 23803.
