Interpretation in the Case of a Public Health Emergency If you are willing to be called on to serve as a volunteer interpreter in the event of a public health emergency, please fill out the linked information and return it to Fatima Sharif, CLAS Act Coordinator.
Medical Interpretation Training Grants Program The Program will pay for the cost of tuition for qualified bilingual persons to take an approved course in medical interpretation. For the 40 credit hours of tuition paid on their behalf, an applicant must agree to participate in 40 hours of community service as an interpreter through an authorized interpreter service program AND/OR an authorized healthcare safety net provider site.
