With so many job openings being posted only online and the Virginia Employment Commission encouraging those seeking unemployment insurance to use their online services at vec.virginia.gov, the Library of Virginia has offered to help.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 to 1:30 staff members of the Library of Virginia www.lva.virginia.gov will be on hand in their first floor computer lab to assist those who are either looking for a job or filing for unemployment insurance. Library staff cannot provide career counseling or unemployment information but will be glad to assist with online employment applications.
