Resource Mothers Program

RESOURCE MOTHERS can help you with all of the following, free of charge:

  • Access to early prenatal care
  • Learn about Medicaid, WIC, and other community resources
  • Build strong parenting skills
  • Finish school, obtain GED, and assist in gaining skills to become more employable
  • Involve family and others in creating a stable, nurturing home for your child
  • Develop a plan for baby’s care while teen is at work or school
  • Attend free classes such as car seat training and breastfeeding
  • Avoid tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs
  • Develop healthy eating habits
  • Include early literacy in your child’s life and receive free books
  • Receive a free car seat for your baby after safety seat training
  • Delay future pregnancies until you are better able to care for yourself and your child
  • Support in continuing education
