Friends of the Southwest Virginia Medical Reserve Corps is a registered 501(c)3 organization with the IRS and with the Virginia Corporation Commission. The website is www.friendsofswvamrc.com
The mission of Friends is to raise funds and share those funds directly with volunteers. Some of the suggestions are to purchase food for volunteer trainings and meetings; purchase awards and gifts for volunteers who provide outstanding service to the Unit; offer training and conference scholarships; and provide recruitment items to the Unit.
