SUMMARY:Addressing Cognitive Impairment and Dementia Among Homeless and Housing-Insecure Seniors
DESCRIPTION:This webinar focuses on supporting homeless and housing-insecure older adults experiencing cognitive impairment or Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD). Participants will learn how to recognize early signs of cognitive impairment in shelter/temporary housing settings and gain practical strategies for engaging seniors in ways that foster meaningful participation. The session will also explore effective referral and partnership approaches that help connect vulnerable seniors to supportive services and pathways to stable housing.
