This webpage was created to help achieve the following objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Educate health care providers on the importance of early detection and timely diagnosis of cognitive impairment, validated cognitive assessment tools, and the value of a Medicare Annual Wellness visit for cognitive health.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct culturally-appropriate public health campaigns to increase understanding and awareness of early warning signs of Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia, and the value of early detection and diagnosis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These objectives were inspired by the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/aging\/healthybrain\/index.htm\"> Healthy Brain Initiative<\/a>, launched by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/\">Centers for Disease Control and Prevention<\/a> and the Alzheimer\u2019s Association in 2013.
