Healthy Brain Initiative<\/h3>\n

The <\/span>Healthy Brain Initiative<\/span><\/b> was introduced in 2013 by the <\/span>Alzheimer's Association<\/span> and the <\/span>Centers for Disease Control and Prevention<\/span> (CDC). The project acts as a <\/span>call to arms<\/span><\/b> and a <\/span>guide<\/span><\/b> for putting into practice a <\/span>successful, coordinated <\/span><\/b>strategy to <\/span>raise awareness<\/span><\/b> of <\/span>brain health<\/span><\/b> among the general public.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This program <\/span>aims<\/span><\/b> to <\/span>enhance<\/span><\/b> brain health, <\/span>increase<\/span><\/b> knowledge of <\/span>early detection<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>rapid diagnosis<\/span><\/b> of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, and <\/span>promote risk-reduction<\/span><\/b> strategies among<\/span> minorities<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>underrepresented<\/span><\/b> groups<\/span><\/b>.
