- The Peninsula Health District has reported three new cases of COVID-19 in the District that include the first positive in Williamsburg. The positive cases are one male and one female in their seventies and one woman in her forties. Two are hospitalized. To protect patient privacy, the health district will provide no further information about the patient. Two out of three appear to be community spread, the third is unknown at this time. The Peninsula Health District is currently conducting a thorough investigation of these cases and any potential exposures. These cases are included in the statewide count of cases at www.vdh.virginia.gov/coronavirus.

- The Chesterfield Health District has reported its third and fourth cases of COVID-19 in the county. The positive cases include a woman in her 60s and a man in his 80s with currently no apparent contact links between the two. Both are hospitalized with ongoing case investigations. To protect patient privacy, the health district will provide no further information about these patients. These cases are included in the statewide count of cases March 18 at www.vdh.virginia.gov/coronavirus.

- The Prince William Health District has reported a case of COVID-19 in the Health District. The positive case is a person in her 60s. The resident has a history of international travel to an area affected by COVID-19. Upon return to the U.S., she followed guidelines to remain at home and limit her contact with others. Upon development of symptoms, she was tested through the Department of Consolidated Laboratory Services. PWHD was notified late on March 12 of the positive test results for COVID-19. The patient is hospitalized in stable condition. To protect patient privacy, the health district will not identify the hospital and no further information will be provided about the patient. This is the second COVID-19 case in the health district, and was included in the statewide count of cases on March 13 at www.vdh.virginia.gov/coronavirus.
