VDH removed the COVID-19 Outbreaks by Selected Exposure Settings dashboard on August 10, 2022. House Bill 5048 required this dashboard during a public health emergency. Virginia is no longer in a public health emergency for COVID-19. If you would like outbreak information about a specific setting, please contact a facility directly. Schools, child care facilities, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, medical facilities, correctional detention facilities, mental health programs, and other group settings are still required to report outbreaks to their local health department. The COVID-19 in Virginia: Outbreaks dashboard includes COVID-19 outbreaks among these settings.
