The Public Health Preparedness Summit, Virginia Epidemiology Seminar, and Finance & Admin In-Person Event provide a venue where participants are exposed to current information, research findings, practical tools, and lessons learned from the public health emergency response to strengthen public health preparedness in Virginia.<\/p>\n

In this year's Summit, we will delve into addressing the critical intersections of fiscal sustainability, administrative agility, and interdisciplinary public health emergency preparedness response coordination necessary to navigate a rapidly transforming public health landscape. The Summit will bring together experts from national public health leadership, state-level policy makers, and frontline practitioners to synchronize our efforts in the face of uncertainty.\u00a0 By integrating the strategic vision of ASTHO\u2019s national leaders with the specialized expertise of our frontline Epidemiologists, Emergency Coordinators, Medical Reserve Corps Coordinators, Health Directors, Nurse Managers, and Business Managers, we will spark the high-level collaboration essential to closing operational gaps and securing the funding needed to safeguard the health of every Virginian.<\/p>\n

The Virginia Epidemiology Seminar hosts a variety of speakers covering recent outbreak investigations and other topics of interest to communicable disease practitioners in health departments, hospitals, and health care communities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
