{"id":13308,"date":"2021-12-17T14:04:56","date_gmt":"2021-12-17T19:04:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/environmental-health\/?page_id=13308"},"modified":"2023-06-30T15:49:28","modified_gmt":"2023-06-30T19:49:28","slug":"onsite-sewage-system-operation-and-maintenance-om-report-submission","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/environmental-health\/onsite-sewage-system-operation-and-maintenance-om-report-submission\/","title":{"rendered":"Onsite Sewage System Maintenance Report Submission"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW240602034 BCX0\">In 2022, the General Assembly approved legislation (HB 769) that directed the Virginia Department of Health<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW240602034 BCX0\"> (VDH)<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW240602034 BCX0\"> to manage and enforce Chesapeake Bay septic tank pump-out requirements within the Three Rivers and Eastern Shore health districts.\u00a0 Previously, this enforcement was the responsibility of the local governments.\u00a0 This legislation takes effect July 1, 2023, and includes a requirement for maintenance providers to report pump-outs within those districts using a web-based reporting system developed by VDH.\u00a0 To implement this reporting tool, VDH made changes to the existing <\/span><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW240602034 BCX0\">MyHD<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW240602034 BCX0\"> platform.\u00a0 While the legislation specifically identifies the two health districts as a pilot program, the <\/span><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW240602034 BCX0\">MyHD<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW240602034 BCX0\"> portal will accept pump-out reports and other maintenance information from licensed<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW240602034 BCX0\">\/permitted<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW240602034 BCX0\"> providers from across the Commonwealth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2023\/06\/VDH-My-Health-Department-Instructions-Version-3.0_20230629.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Revised instructions for creating an account, navigating the portal, and paying for reports can be found HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT NOTES<\/strong>:<br \/>\n&gt; <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW71692521 BCX0\">This portal is <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW71692521 BCX0\">only <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW71692521 BCX0\">for licensed Master Alternative\/Conventional Operators, Master Alternative\/Conventional Installers, <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW71692521 BCX0\">Class 4 or higher Wastewater Works Operators, <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW71692521 BCX0\">and permitted Sewage Handlers to submit maintenance reports, pump-out information and make any necessary payments as per the appropriate regulation.<\/span><br \/>\n&gt; <span class=\"TextRun SCXW245736030 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW245736030 BCX0\">All <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW245736030 BCX0\">maintenance providers <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW245736030 BCX0\">must create an account in the\u00a0<\/span><\/span><a class=\"Hyperlink SCXW245736030 BCX0\" href=\"https:\/\/myhealthdepartment.com\/virginia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span class=\"TextRun Underlined SCXW245736030 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW245736030 BCX0\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"Hyperlink\">VDH MyHD portal<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW245736030 BCX0\" data-ccp-charstyle=\"Hyperlink\">,<\/span><\/span><\/a><span class=\"TextRun SCXW245736030 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW245736030 BCX0\"> including users of third-party platforms who wish to send<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW245736030 BCX0\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW245736030 BCX0\">reports through an API to <\/span><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW245736030 BCX0\">MyHD<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW245736030 BCX0\">.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n&gt;
