Th\u1ee7y ng\u00e2n c\u00f3 th\u1ec3 x\u00e2m nh\u1eadp v\u00e0o ngu\u1ed3n n\u01b0\u1edbc th\u00f4ng qua s\u1ef1 l\u1eafng \u0111\u1ecdng trong kh\u00ed quy\u1ec3n t\u1eeb nh\u1eefng ngu\u1ed3n r\u1ea5t xa.<\/p>\n<p>H\u1ea7u h\u1ebft c\u00e1c khuy\u1ebfn c\u00e1o v\u1ec1 vi\u1ec7c ti\u00eau th\u1ee5 c\u00e1 \u1edf Virginia \u0111\u1ec1u li\u00ean quan \u0111\u1ebfn th\u1ee7y ng\u00e2n v\u00e0 PCB. Khuy\u1ebfn c\u00e1o v\u1ec1 ti\u00eau th\u1ee5 c\u00e1 ch\u1ee9a PFAS hi\u1ec7n ch\u1ec9 \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c ban h\u00e0nh cho l\u01b0u v\u1ef1c Chickahominy. Nh\u1eefng ch\u1ea5t g\u00e2y \u00f4 nhi\u1ec5m n\u00e0y xu\u1ea5t hi\u1ec7n trong ngu\u1ed3n n\u01b0\u1edbc s\u1ebd t\u00edch t\u1ee5 sinh h\u1ecdc, ngh\u0129a l\u00e0 ch\u00fang c\u00f3 th\u1ec3 t\u00edch t\u1ee5 trong m\u00f4 c\u00e1 theo th\u1eddi gian.
