Since March 2024, FDA has found multiple ground cinnamon products with unsafe levels of lead. To this point, all of the products have had much lower levels than the cinnamon found in the applesauce that was recalled. However, these products are still hazardous to people&#8217;s health, especially children and pregnant women. You can see if you have bought any of these products at the FDA website:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/food\/alerts-advisories-safety-information\/fda-alert-concerning-certain-cinnamon-products-due-presence-elevated-levels-lead\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">March 6, 2024 Alert<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/food\/alerts-advisories-safety-information\/fda-public-health-alert-additional-ground-cinnamon-product-due-presence-elevated-levels-lead\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">July 25, 2024 Alert<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/food\/alerts-advisories-safety-information\/more-ground-cinnamon-products-added-fda-public-health-alert-due-presence-elevated-levels-lead?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=govdelivery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">July 30, 2024 Alert<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some products have been voluntarily recalled by the manufacturer and can be returned to the store for a refund. Others have not been recalled yet.
