<strong>Pregnancy Loss Initiative<\/strong> is to build the <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\">capacity<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\"> of community <\/span><\/span> <span class=\"TextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\" lang=\"EN\" xml:lang=\"EN\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\">organizations to provide pregnancy loss support and education services to individuals and <\/span><\/span> <span class=\"TextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\" lang=\"EN\" xml:lang=\"EN\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\">groups (including families) who have experienced pregnancy loss<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\">. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\">This program includes but is <\/span><\/span> <span class=\"TextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\" lang=\"EN\" xml:lang=\"EN\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\">not limited to the following: <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\">miscarriage (including molar and ectopic pregnancy), <\/span><\/span> <span class=\"TextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\" lang=\"EN\" xml:lang=\"EN\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\">termination\/abortion for medical reasons,<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\">stillbirth<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\"> and neonatal death, sudden unexpected <\/span><\/span> <span class=\"TextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\" lang=\"EN\" xml:lang=\"EN\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15457309 BCX0\">death of an infant, and pregnancy after loss.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW15457309 BCX0\" pregnancy loss continue to grieve for years. Birth in Color RVA also offers a variety of educational and support programs related to reproductive justice and maternal health.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fullcirclegc.org\/\">Full Circle Grief Center:<\/a> <\/strong>Nonprofit organization that offers grief counseling and community events for bereaved individuals\/families. Full Circle Grief Center also offers a variety of loss-specific bereavement support programs, including perinatal loss, suicide loss and overdose\/substance use-related loss.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kennedysangelgowns.org\/\">Kennedy\u2019s Angel Gowns:<\/a><\/strong> Nonprofit organization that offers burial kits (\u201cangel boxes\u201d), financial assistance for burials, and doula support to bereaved individuals and families. Kennedy\u2019s Angel Gowns also offers a variety of community events and referrals.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sistersinloss.com\/\">Sisters in Loss:<\/a><\/strong> Nonprofit organization that offers grief support to bereaved individuals and families. Sisters in Loss also creates educational content about pregnancy loss, infant loss, and infertility.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/obgyn.vcu.edu\/\">VCU Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology:<\/a><\/strong> Hospital system that provides clinical care to patients experiencing a loss, as well as mental health, spiritual, doula, and memento support items. VCU Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is part of VCU Health System, which offers a wide variety of clinical services including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vcuhealth.org\/services\/womens-health\/our-services\/pregnancy-and-birth\/team-and-capabilities\/complex-family-planning\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Complex Family Planning<\/a>.
