The VA MRC partners with the Virginia Department of Elections to provide infection prevention support at various polling locations across the state of Virginia during elections.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our volunteers prepare for their role as Infection Prevention Ambassadors (IPA) for Election Day by:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Learning about polling location operations and official election regulations<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Reviewing proper PPE donning and doffing procedures<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Understanding how to establish infection Prevention Ambassadors<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If you are an election official and would like to request MRC Infection Prevention Ambassadors for your polling locations,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/mrc\/elections-mrc_support_form\/\"> please click HERE to submit your request<\/a>.\u00a0 Once submitted, a member of the VA MRC coordination team will be in touch with you.<\/p>\n<p><em>Due to our current vaccination mission, we can not guarantee we will have volunteer capacity to support your location.\u00a0 Requesting as soon as possible will increase
