Thomas Jefferson Health District to Launch New Clinic Schedules in 2019

(Charlottesville, Va.) — Beginning January 1, 2019, Thomas Jefferson Health District (TJHD) health departments will offer new clinic hours.

The biggest change in clinic hours will happen at the Charlottesville/Albemarle Health Department. The usual Friday afternoon walk-in Sexual Health Clinics will be moved to Thursday afternoons from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. These clinics will remain available for walk-in visits and provide testing for common sexually transmitted infections (STIs) on a first come first served basis.

Updated clinic schedules for all local health departments can be found at www.TJHD.org.  People are encouraged to call their local health department with any questions about clinic schedule changes and/or to schedule a clinic appointment.
