Chesterfield Health District Reschedules COVID-19 Vaccine Second Dose Clinics Postponed Due to Inclement Weather

(CHESTERFIELD, Va.)  — Due to inclement weather impacts on vaccination clinics scheduled on February 18, 19, and 20, the Chesterfield Health District is adjusting its COVID-19 second dose vaccination events during the week of February 22 to accommodate a large number of rescheduled appointments.

Individuals whose appointments were postponed due to inclement weather will be rescheduled for the week of February 22.

Individuals expecting to get a second dose appointment during that week can now be expected to be contacted by health district staff during the week of March 1 to be scheduled for a vaccination appointment that same week.

Individuals will be contacted by phone or email (depending on which information they provided the health district). Please check your email and answer the phone so you do not miss a chance to reschedule your appointment for the second dose of the vaccine.

Extending second dose appointments by one week beyond the suggested dosing timeframe (three weeks for Pfizer, four weeks for Moderna) will not adversely affect either the safety or effectiveness of the vaccine.

We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.
