Local Health Districts Announce Additional Mobile Vaccination Clinic Locations

(Norfolk, Va.)  — The Virginia Department of Health’s local health districts, in coordination with the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) and other supporting partners, have announced the dates and locations of upcoming mobile vaccination clinics.

These mobile clinics will offer free COVID-19 vaccines for those 18 and older in a series of smaller and more local clinics, primarily in rural and underserved areas where vaccine access can be challenging. They are designed to reach unvaccinated Virginians at times and places that are closer and more convenient.

The added clinics are:

Virginia Beach   June 14    9 a.m. to noon       Level Green Park 15 Level Green Blvd.

Virginia Beach   June 14    1 p.m. to 5 p.m.    The Gathering at Scott Memorial UMC 409 First Colonial Rd.

Virginia Beach   June 15    9 a.m. to noon       Big Charlie’s Truck Plaza 5792 Northampton Blvd.

Virginia Beach   June 15    1 p.m. to 5 p.m.     Farm Fresh parking lot 928 Diamond Springs Rd.

Norfolk               June 16    9 a.m. to noon       STEM Academy 1106 Campostella Rd.

Norfolk               June 16    1 p.m. to 5 p.m.     Barraud Park 2540 Barraud Ave.

Norfolk               June 17   10 a.m. to 5 p.m.    Harbor Park – Tides game 150 Park Ave.

Norfolk               June 18    9 a.m. to noon       Oakwood Chapel Church 982 Avenue E

No appointments are needed.

These vendor-operated, mobile vaccination clinics will move from place to place to support local health department efforts in the Eastern Region and across the state.

These mobile clinics will offer the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, thus eliminating the need for a person to return for a second-dose shot.
