No-Cost Drive-Through COVID-19 Vaccination Offered at Shenandoah County Fairgrounds in Woodstock on Thursday, April 29

(Winchester, Va.) — The Lord Fairfax Health District will offer Moderna COVID-19 vaccination at no cost to the recipient, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., Thursday April 29, at the Shenandoah County Fairgrounds, 300 Fairground Road, Woodstock, VA.

“We are delighted to offer a proven safe and effective vaccine to all persons age 18 and over,” said Lord Fairfax Health District Director Colin Greene. “We have made wonderful progress against COVID-19, but about half the population still remains unvaccinated, so COVID-19 is still a risk for illness, hospitalization, and death.  Let’s wipe this disease out together.”

Persons who require a second shot of Moderna vaccine at this time are also welcome; these persons should bring their vaccine card to confirm correct vaccine and timing.

This session is intended for eligible persons 18 and older who have had no history of severe reactions to vaccines. Individuals who are ill or who believe they require medical evaluation should contact their personal healthcare provider.

To make an appointment, call Shenandoah County Health Department at 540-459-3733.
