Sussex and Surry Health Departments Extend Clinic Operational Hours
(Petersburg, Va.) -Crater Health District’s (CHD) plans to expand additional clinics are in progress at health departments throughout our localities. Sussex and Surry Health Departments will have expanded clinic operational hours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting Monday, February 22, 2021.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all CHD health department services will continue to operate under modified structure. For example, WIC and nursing home screenings will ontinue to be conducted remotely and vital records will be provided at your vehicle. In person clinics, will remain by appointment only.
“We are striving to maintain services as best we can while we continue to combat the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of our communities is our highest priority,” shared Crater Health District Administrator, Roxanne Marr-Shears.
