More Virginians Getting COVID-19 Vaccines, Boosters
Chesterfield Health District Community Vaccination Center Continues to Welcome Walk-ins to Meet Ongoing Demand

CHESTERFIELD, Va. – Since Thanksgiving, more than 55,000 Virginians have been vaccinated or received booster doses through one of the Virginia Department of Health’s nine community vaccination centers. Demand for COVID-19 vaccinations is up, as seen in both walk-in rates and requests for appointments. The daily total of vaccine doses administered across all community vaccination centers in the Commonwealth rose to 9,193 on Nov. 30, and to 9,267 on Dec. 3, about 75% more than previous top daily doses rates since the centers reopened in October. In our region, the Chesterfield Health District community vaccination center administered its highest number of 721 daily doses on November 29 since opening here on October 16. more>>
