(Madison, Va.) — The Rappahannock-Rapidan Health District is pleased to announce that the Madison County Health Department is moving to a new location! The health district thanks everyone for their patience during this move. We have scheduled the move in hopes of limiting potential delays or disruption in services to the community at this location to only three days. Therefore, the current office will be closed Wednesday, July 31, Thursday, August 1 and Friday, August 2. The new office will open Monday, August 5. The new location remains on Main Street and is approximately one half mile from the current location. The phone number will remain the same (540-948-5481).
