(Wise, VA) – The Lenowisco Health District will offer free seasonal flu vaccine at the following Health Department clinics on Wednesday, November 24, 2010:
- Wise County, 134 Roberts Ave., SW, Wise (8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.)
- Scott County, 190 Beech St., Gate City (8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.)
- Lee County, Hill Street, Jonesville (8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.)
A limited quantity of injectable seasonal influenza vaccine will be available to individuals three years of age and older, on a first-come, first-served basis at each location. Those under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For patients with insurance, vaccine will be billed to your insurance company and there will be no charge to you.
“Our community clinics offer a great opportunity for everyone, especially those without health insurance, to get their children and themselves vaccinated in one visit,” said Eleanor S. Cantrell, M.D., director of the Lenowisco Health District.
