(WINCHESTER, Va.)—The Lord Fairfax Health District (LFHD) and the Warren County Health Department are grateful and honored to have received a gift that will beautify the Health Department entrance. Members of Skyline High School’s “Tech Foundation Class,” under the direction of Instructor Richard Strunk, constructed a beautiful bench and planter box. The wood for the items was donated by 84 Lumber. Southern States donated soil and flowers for the planter.

“We would like to say thank you to Skyline High School, 84 Lumber and Southern States for their support in and for the Front Royal community,” Lord Fairfax Health District Director, Charles Devine, III, MD, said. “The bench and planter will provide a pleasant place to rest for our clients and staff, and will be a beautiful addition to the front of the building.”

The Lord Fairfax Health District includes health departments in Clarke County, Frederick/Winchester, Page County, Shenandoah County and Warren County, as well as the Frederick/Winchester Environmental Health office.
