The event will take place on <strong>Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.<\/strong> at <a href=\"https:\/\/pghs.pgs.k12.va.us\/\">Prince George High School<\/a>, 7801 Laurel Spring Rd, Prince George, VA 23875. This free event is open to all members of the community and aims to provide health resources and services, along with family-friendly activities.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/spring-into-great-health-tickets-1272647104749?aff=oddtdtcreator\">Spring into Great Health Fair<\/a> will offer a variety of on-site health screenings and vaccinations, including hearing, speech, vision, dental, <a href=\"https:\/\/agesandstages.com\/about-asq\/who-uses-asq\/child-find\/\">Child Finds (ASQs)<\/a>, 7th &amp; 12th grade immunizations, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/diabetes\/\">A1C (glucose) screenings<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/heart-disease\/self-monitoring-blood-pressure-smbp\/\">blood pressure<\/a> checks. These services are designed to help individuals take proactive steps toward managing their health and well-being.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur CHD staff and Prince George community partners look forward to offering valuable health services and connecting our community to local resources,\u201d said Alton Hart, Jr., MD, MPH, MDiv. Crater District Health Director. \u201cThis event will feature over 50 vendors, essential health screenings, and resources for everyone in the community. We are committed to promoting healthy living and encourage everyone to join us for a day filled with health, fun, and education.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This comprehensive health and resource fair represents our commitment to the well-being of Prince George County residents. By bringing together free health screenings, immunizations, and community resources in one location, we\u2019re making it easier for families to access and prioritize their health,\u201d said Chairman Floyd M. Brown Jr., <a href=\"https:\/\/www.princegeorgecountyva.gov\/departments\/board_of_supervisors\/index.php\">PG County Board of Supervisors<\/a>. \u201cPrince George County has always been a welcoming community focused on building a prosperous future for residents, and this collaborative event reflects our commitment to fostering a culture of wellness, ensuring our community has access to the services and information they need to lead healthy lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the health screenings, the fair will feature many family-friendly activities, over 50 local community resources, food trucks, and grocery giveaways.
