Get ready for a ghoulishly good time\u2014let\u2019s make this Halloween the best and safest one yet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHalloween is a time for fun and creativity, but safety and health come first. Whether trick-or-treating, attending events, or handing out candy, please stay visible, travel in groups, and check treats before eating,\u201d said Alton Hart, Jr., MD, MPH, Crater District Health Director. \u201cWith cold and flu season here, it\u2019s important to follow three things for a healthy fall: washing your hands, covering your coughs and sneezes, and getting vaccinated. Be sure to stay home if you\u2019re feeling sick.
