{"id":8270,"date":"2022-01-04T10:44:31","date_gmt":"2022-01-04T15:44:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/news\/?page_id=8270"},"modified":"2022-01-05T15:44:13","modified_gmt":"2022-01-05T20:44:13","slug":"rappahannock-rapidan-health-district-partners-with-culpeper-county-for-free-drive-through-covid-19-testing","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/news\/public-relations-contacts\/archived-news-releases\/2022-regional-news-releases\/rappahannock-rapidan-health-district-partners-with-culpeper-county-for-free-drive-through-covid-19-testing\/","title":{"rendered":"Rappahannock-Rapidan Health District Partners with Culpeper County for Free Drive Through COVID-19 Testing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>January 3, 2022<\/p>\n<p>Rappahannock-Rapidan Health District Media Contact: Rappahannock-Rapidan Health District Population Health Manager April Achter, <a href=\"mailto:AskRRHD@vdh.virginia.gov\">AskRRHD@vdh.virginia.gov<\/a>, 540-308-6072<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rappahannock-Rapidan Health District Partners with Culpeper County for Free Drive Through COVID-19 Testing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CULPEPER, VIRGINIA \u2013 On Thursday, January 6, 2022 there will be a FREE Drive Through COVID-19 Testing site from 4\u00a0\u2013\u00a07\u00a0p.m. at Brandy Station Volunteer Fire Department located at 19601 Church Road, Brandy Station, VA.\u00a0 The parking lot will open at 3 p.m. and the first 300 individuals will be tested.<\/p>\n<p>This one day testing site is open to everyone at no cost and the event will happen rain or shine. \u00a0You don\u2019t have to be experiencing symptoms or have a referral to be tested.<\/p>\n<p>This free testing site is offered through a partnership between the Rappahannock-Rapidan Health District and Culpeper County. \u00a0\u201cWe are working together to meet the needs of those looking for a PCR test after any potential COVID exposures during the holidays,\u201d said Culpeper County Emergency Manager Bill Ooten.<\/p>\n<p>Rappahannock-Rapidan Medical Reserve Corps volunteers will help staff the testing site.\u00a0 Please be prepared to complete paperwork in your car while you wait. \u00a0If you are experiencing symptoms, we recommend you wear a mask in your car, especially if you have other passengers.
