The report can be viewed online at:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/chickahominy\/community-health-assessment\/\"> www.vdh.virginia.gov\/chickahominy\/community-health-assessment\/<\/a>. This report details population-level health indicators, identified local assets, and health priorities for the county.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Community Health Assessment is a collaborative process which gives organizations, community leaders, and community members comprehensive information on the health of the county. This information will be the backbone for the next phase of the process \u2013 developing a Community Health Improvement Plan based on the areas identified as priorities for the future,\u201d stated Emily Hines, Population Health Planning &amp; Improvement Coordinator for the Chickahominy Health District. \u201cWe are grateful to everyone who was involved in the assessment, including the CHA Steering Committee, and we look forward to developing and implementing a robust plan that builds on the great things already happening in New Kent County.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is the first time the Chickahominy Health District, and approximately 15 local organizations, have partnered to complete a CHA.
