Congratulations! Greater Prince William MRC Volunteers Receive Special Commendation for COVID-19 Response

Greater Prince William MRC gets special commendation from Manassas City Council for COVID-19 Response

(July 13, 2021)

The Greater Prince William Medical Reserve Corps (GPW MRC) received a Special Commendation from the Manassas City Council Monday night (July 12) for its COVID-19 response.

More than 566 GPW MRC volunteers contributed more than 18,700 hours since March 2020, says Amy Feinberg, Greater Prince William Medical Reserve Corps Coordinator/Planner.

When you calculate the 18,700 hours into years, that is MORE THAN TWO YEARS of volunteer service in the fight against this pandemic. You do the math. There are 8760 hours in a year.

These men and women of the MRC are an invaluable force in the COVID-19 response.  We here at the Prince William Health District salute you and are forever grateful to you!
